Inhibin A Test is a basic blood test that measure the level Inhibin A in the blood. It is used in
pregnant women who are suspected of carrying a foetus with down syndrome. The Inhibin A
test is also used for the diagnosis of Granulosa cell tumours and Mucinous Epithelial Ovarian
Tumour.The normal range of inhibin A at 15–19 weeks was 41.4–690 pg/ml and at 21–25 weeks
was 47.6–1719 pg/ml. The normal ranges of activin A at 15–19 weeks and 21–25 weeks were
0.64–15.71 and 0.86–28.74 ng/ml.
