quantity of hemoglobin present in a single red blood cell. Hemoglobin is the protein in your
red blood cells that transports oxygen to the tissues of your body.The normal range of MCH
is usually from 27 – 31 pg.A low mean corpuscular hemoglobin (MCH) means that your red
blood cells contain less hemoglobin than normal. This usually also means they are smaller
than normal (microcytic).
