Hb measures the number of red blood cells, TLC measures the total number of white blood

cells, which if high in number indicates an infection, DLC measures the consistency and

structure of the white blood cells and counts the percentage of basophils, eosinophils,

neutrophils, monocytes and lymphocytes.
