The Toxoplasmosis Blood Test is used to aid in the diagnosis of infection by the parasite
Toxoplasma Gondii. This test looks for IgG antibodies which typically develop as a response
to infection several weeks after the initial exposure.A positive IgG result simply means
that you have been infected at some point in your life; it cannot tell you when. The IgM
antibody test can tell us whether the infection was recent. A negative IgM result usually
means that you've been infected in the past and are now immune to the parasite
