An eosinophil count is a blood test that measures the quantity of eosinophils in your body.

Abnormal eosinophil levels are often discovered as part of a routine complete blood

count (CBC) test.normal range is usually between 30 and 350. A high eosinophil count can

indicate that the body is producing lots of new eosinophils to try to fight a bacteria, virus, or

parasite. Therefore, high eosinophil count can be indicative of an infection.
